| CONGRATS NOTE: The East JV Volleyball team had a super season this year. We want to let everyone know that there season was 18-6. What a fantastic year for the players and Coach Brad Carwile. NOTICE: THIS SITE WILL BE CLOSING DOWN IN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS, THIS SITE WILL NO LONGER BE IN OPERATION AFTER OCTOBER 30, 2002. THE REASON IS IT WILL NOT LET ME DO ANY UPDATING ON PHOTOGRAPHS, ONLY IN TEXT. NOTE: EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! The game of the season is fast approaching for East. East will be hosting North Jackson this Friday night, Oct 25, 2002. Both teams have undefeated records for the season. This is going to be the game in Class 4A in the state this Friday night. If you plan on coming to the game, you best arrive early. Seating is limited, and so is the fence row. This game will also determine the Region 7 winner. East fans please be sure to come and support our Indians players and coaches! NOTE:The Varsity Volleyball team played in the county tourney this past Saturday. They beat West and Tanner, and lost to ABS and Ardmore. East Varsity Volleyball travels Tuesday, Oct 22, 2002 to Lawrence Co for region game. IMAGE SHOWN TO RIGHT: This is the MYSTERY PLAYER OF THE WEEK. Can you name who this player is? The mystery player to the right is Chris Webster, Sr. Get Ready for the upcoming mystery player in October. Please be sure to come out and support your EAST Football Team, Coaches, Cheerleaders, and Band. The Quarterback Club will have a booth set up to sell EAST goods. Please be sure to stop by and look at all the new merchandise, there is glow in the dark beads, flashing earrings, all kinds of fun new stuff. The funds from sales go to the supporting the Quarterback Club to help pay for all the expenses that are incurred throughout the year in football, upkeep of the field, and paying for the bleachers. ALSO, there are still reserved seats available for sale. Please be sure to contact Jimmy Leach, Quarterback Club President, if you are interested in purchasing a reserved seat. | Home Football Games Information, Home Volleyball Games Information HOME FOOTBALL GAMES INFORMATION: The football season is HERE for 2002. East is off to a GREAT START! East has 3 wins under the belt for the season. Tickets are five dollars per game, but season tickets for home games can be purchased through the high school office. Parking attendants will also be there again this year. This is manned by Quarterback Club members. Parking will cost be TWO dollars per car. We hope everyone will be out to support East at Guntersville. You might want to allow plenty of time for the apprx 60 mile drive. HOME VOLLEYBALL GAMES INFORMATION: Go to the Volleyball page. The Varsity Volleyball tourney will be Oct 19th. Goodluck to the Varsity Volleyball on the upcoming tourney. Thank you! |
